Dr. Knyrim is the editor-in-chief of the Austrian data protection law review “Datenschutz konkret” and the editor of the data protection commentary “Der DatKomm” and the practical handbook on privacy law “Praxishandbuch Datenschutzrecht (published by Manz); member and awarded Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and holder of the CIPP-E, CIPM and CIPT certificates; member of Privacy Europe; as well as adviser of the review “Compliance Praxis” and adviser of the “Austrian IT-LAW Symposion”.

Dr. Knyrim is also a lecturer at the “Donau Universität” (University for Continuing Education Krems) and content director of the conference “PriSec – Privacy & Security”, the “Training for Certified Data Protection Officers”, the seminar “EU Data Protection Reform & New Data Protection Law” and the seminar “GDPR in Marketing” at Business Circle.
